About AiSVD
The Asian Society of Veterinary Dermatology (AiSVD) was formed following the 2nd Asian Dermatology meeting in Seoul Korea in 1993, by a group of individuals from 6 Asian countries who shared a common passion for the study of diseases of the skin in animals.
Since then we have grown to a large non-profit organization with members in more than a dozen countries, who are actively involved in promoting excellence in research, education and clinical practice in veterinary dermatology throughout the region.
We organise biannual scientific meetings, where in addition to Continuing Education lectures, we encourage members to present original research and interesting clinical cases in our scientific sessions.
We also hold regional Continuing Education seminars, comprising of lectures and workshops, for our members.
AiSVD was instrumental in organizing the Sixth World Congress of Veterinary Dermatology in Hong Kong in 2008, and is a member organization of the World Association for Veterinary Dermatology.
